The weather here warmed up dramatically yesterday and it is still nice out today.
This must have brought the bluebirds all out of their nice snug nests.
This morning when I looked out my back door, there were bluebirds everywhere.
I counted 5 in one tree and then noticed there were many more in the asparagus patch.
I believe the variety we have here is the Eastern Bluebird.
They are so pretty with their blue body and orange breast.
I love watching them flitter around.
They have been the inspiration behind several of my punch needle patterns.
Happy bird watching!
