I have made more progress on our barn quilt.
Even though I used good quality, outdoor paints for the quilt,
I wanted to add a clear coat to help it last even longer
since it will not be an easy task to take it down and touch up the paint.
I was going to use marine varnish, but read that marine varnish can yellow your paint colors.

So, I found this clear, indoor / outdoor spray varnish.

We sprayed both the front

and the back.
It dries extremely fast,
so we were able to do several coats in a short amount of time.
All that’s left is to hang it!
Update: Every other year or so, we do have to climb a ladder to re-touch the paint
and re-apply the clear spray varnish.
Blessings ~
