I have been growing mint for several years
that I dry to put into my teas.
This year, I planted some camomile flowers
so I could harvest their flowers to make camomile tea.
Based on a little internet research,
I would say these plants are German camomile
since the plants have grown pretty tall.
I was planning on harvesting some of the flowers this morning to dry them
but it rained a bit this morning so I will wait another day to harvest.
I don’t want the flowers to have extra moisture on them
when my goal is to dry them!
To harvest, you just pop off the flower heads
after the dew has dried off in the morning.
I love to drink a calming cup of tea in the evenings in the wintertime.
This winter, I can drink the tea I grew!
