Over the weekend, I finished weaving another hand-woven rug.
Now I have two completed rugs.
I am making these for my camper
following DIY on the House’s video tutorials.
With these two under my belt,
I need to make some long skinny runner rugs
to put between the twin beds in the camper
and another one for in front of the camper’s couch.
So, my husband made me another rug loom that is 70 inches long.
This one has been challenging to do at the top.
I have been standing on a stool so I can reach.
Luckily, I am about to a comfortable weaving height for my arms!
I am enjoying this type of weaving so much
that my husband is also making me a hot pad sized loom.
Many years ago, someone gifted my mom their pre-cut rug braiding wool
for her to use in her rug hooking.
For various reasons, some of it won’t work for rug hooking
so I went through her reject stash
and found some wools that match
to use for weaving hot pads for the camper.
