Last year, we had some storm damage
We had used it to hold all of our garden tools and implements
close to the garden.
After the storm, we stored the hoes and rakes
in the shed and the garage.
This didn’t make it very convenient
for when we
wanted needed to hoe a few weeds in the garden.
So, we decided to move our old chicken coop over to the same spot
and use it as a garden shed.
Now, it is a bit rough as it was a used building
BEFORE we ever housed chickens in it many years ago.
So we decided to just go with the funky junk appearance
and decorate it accordingly.
We added a star wreath made out of lathe boards
with antique barbed wire and a hand-painted garden sign.
On the side, we added a window frame
with some rustic shutters and a flower box.
Yesterday, I found some pretty red geraniums to fill the box.
My husband was able to move the shed
into the same spot as the last one,
right up next to the flowers I had planted.
We’ve got the compost bin and the hoses stored on the backside.
It is the perfect size to hold all of our tools!
I would like to add another old window frame
to the other side if I can find one.
I’ll just add it to the list of things
I can look for when I am junkin’!
