Print the Valentine Telegrams on Fabric:
I used some vintage Valentine graphics from my printables Etsy shop. It comes with 4 different printable Valentine telegrams in JPG files.

Cut a piece of freezer paper to your printer paper size (8-1/2″ x 11″).
Choose some fabric to print the Valentines onto. I used a natural colored drop cloth fabric for my telegrams.
One side of the freezer paper is shiny with a waxy feel. Layer the fabric and freezer paper together with the waxy side of the paper next to the wrong side of the fabric. Use an iron to press the paper onto the fabric. The wax will adhere the two together.
Cut out the fabric to be the same size as the freezer paper.
Having the paper attached to the fabric will give the fabric stability and allow it to go through the printer.
Place the fabric / freezer paper sheets into your ink jet printer. Different printers are different so you will have to determine how your printer feeds paper through itself. Mine feeds directly through so I put the fabric side up into the back of the printer.
You can print two of the telegrams onto one sheet of paper. Just open the JPG file on your computer and print. I did choose to print the ‘Best’ quality in the print dialog box.

Finish the Valentine Telegrams:
After they are printed, peel the freezer paper off the back of the fabric.

Cut the fabric out right along the printed lines of the telegrams. You can finish them however you want. You could make mini pillows or bowl fillers, a banner to hang, or a mini quilt.
I am going to make mine flat like a telegram / postcard.
To make yours like I did, cut a piece of mid weight fusible interfacing just a little bit smaller than the cut out Valentine telegram.
Use an iron to press the interfacing onto the back side of the telegram.
Choose a backing fabric. Place the printed telegram on top of the backing fabric, wrong sides together. Use the telegram as a pattern to cut out the backing.

Depending on the weight of your interfacing, you might want to add interfacing to the backing fabrics.
Layer the backing and the telegram together, wrong sides together. Stitch the two pieces together.
Use a red thread to straight stitch all the way around the telegram. Unravel the edges slightly.

Enjoy your fabric vintage Valentines!
