Sheep and willow trees are such a big part of traditional, country decor.
I love using them in my punch needle patterns.
This new punch needle pattern combines prim sheep and primitive willow tree along with a little bit of Americana.
The punch needle pattern is called “Liberty Lambs.”

This punch needle design was punched with a combination of Valdani and DMC embroidery flosses,
using 3 strands of floss.
The finished punch needle mat measures about five inches tall and about six and a half inches wide.
The project features two sheep standing under a primitive willow tree
holding an American flag between the two of them.
