Primitive Sheep Hooked Pillow
The sheep was hooked with #8 wool strips (1/4″ wide).
His body was hooked with a solid natural colored wool.
His face, ear, and legs were all hooked with a black striped wool.
The blanket on his back is a brown striped wool
and the star is a combination of a gold check and a gold solid wool.
The finished pillow measures about 10 inches by 13 inches.
The rug hooking pattern uses monks cloth as a foundation fabric.
The monks cloth is softer and more flexible than some of the other
foundation fabrics making turning and manipulating
the corners of the pillow easier.
The primitive sheep has been backed with a cream felted wool and loosely stuffed.
