I just released this new pineapple welcome rug hooking pattern. It is the companion pattern to this pineapple punch needle pattern. The pineapple was a symbol of hospitality in Colonial times, so the hooked rug pattern features a primitive style pineapple and also says ‘Welcome’.
Pineapple Welcome Rug Hooking Pattern:
The pineapple hooked rug was hooked with #8 wool strips. It measures about seven inches wide and about nine and one half inches tall.
The word ‘Welcome’ was hooked in a dark blue wool but you could of course use a felted wool to match your decor.
You can choose either a digital pattern or a mailed pattern. Both come as full size patterns with color suggestions and a color photo.
