Today I am releasing a new summer punch needle pattern with a bee skep, coneflower, and a busy bee. It is a wonderful folk art design with variegated threads and the date 1847 to give it a primitive feel.
1847 Bee & Skep Punch Needle Pattern:
This punch needle pattern has been punched using 3 strands of DMC and Valdani floss and pearl cotton #8 Valdani.
The bee skep, flower, grass, and background are all punched with variegated Valdani threads.
The finished punch needle project measures about 4-3/4″ x 4-1/4″ when finished.
If you are a rug hooker, there is also a companion rug hooking pattern available.
