This adorable baby chick hatching from an egg is the perfect addition to your spring treen ware bowl.
The punch needle bowl filler pattern is called “Folksy Chick”.
Folksy Chick Punch Needle Pattern:
This primitive bowl filler has been punched using three strands of DMC embroidery floss.
The chick measures about four and one fourth inches tall
and about three and one half inches wide.
There is a floss feather tuft on the top of its head.
The chick portion has been punched using
multiple shades of DMC floss to give it a mottled look.
To give it an aged look, the sample has been coffee dyed before assembly.
It is easy to make this project into a bowl filler by backing it with felted wool
following the finishing instructions provided in the pattern.
