I just finished putting together this spring chick hooked rug pillow. I call it ‘Mama Chick’ since she is sporting a pretty blue apron. This rug hooking pattern has a companion punch needle pattern to make a chick bowl filler.
Mama Chick Hooked Rug Pillow:
This pillow has been hooked using #8 wool worms on monks cloth. I hooked the apron with a pretty blue, but you could choose a color to match your decor!
The backing on the hooked rug chick pillow is felted wool – the same yellow used for the front.
The backing was whipstitched onto the hooked rug to make the pillow. The rug hooking pattern includes instructions for finishing it into the pillow.
