The finished punch needle mat measures about three inches tall and about eight and a half inches long.
It features an old fashioned whaling ship
framed by two beautiful whales.
The project was punched using three strands of DMC and Valdani floss.
The sky, ocean, and whales are all punched with Valdani variegated floss.
I love how Valdani floss gives the water and sky movement.
