Today, I have two new primitive patterns to release.
The same summertime patriotic crow is in both –
a hooked rug pattern and a punch needle pattern.
They both feature a primitive crow perched atop
a slice of watermelon.
It looks like he has been helping himself to some of the watermelon!
He is also holding an American flag,
giving the pattern a patriotic, Americana look.
Summertime Fun Punch Needle Pattern:
The punch needle pattern has been punched
on a piece of tan colored weavers cloth
with three strands of DMC flosses.

Hooked Rug Pattern:
The rug hooking pattern has been hooked
with #8 strips of wool (1/4 inch).
It has been bordered with a strip of red wool.
The hooked rug pattern includes instructions
for adding the wool strip on the border.
