This sweet little robin make-do is my newest punch needle pattern.
I always think of a robin as one of the first signs of spring’s arrival.
Seeing a robin in the yard in March is exciting after a long cold winter!
I display this robin a little earlier than my first live bird sighting, just to help with the winter blahs.

This robin make-do was punched using 3 strands of DMC floss and Valdani floss.
The finished punched bird measures about three and a half inches tall
and about five inches long.
The robin is holding a felted wool strawberry
and was mounted on a vintage door knob.
