1876 Flags Punch Needle Pattern:
This patriotic table mat has been punched using three strands of DMC embroidery floss.
When finished it measures about eight inches wide and about five inches tall.
The sample has been over dyed with coffee to give it an aged look.
The oval table mat features two primitive flags in a stoneware jar.
It has the date 1876.
Around the edge is a bunting of blue and red with gold stars.
The sample has been backed with felted wool and has a felted wool crinkly edging.
The pattern instructions include finishing instructions to add the wool edging.
