Uncle Sam Hooked Rug Pattern

This new Primitive Style Uncle Sam Rug Hooking Pattern

It was designed after this Uncle Sam punch needle bowl filler.

(Curious about how to make bowl fillers? – Learn how to make them here.)

In the hooked rug, Uncle Sam has a fluffy wooly beard.

Uncle Sam's Face - Hooked Rug

And he is waving his American flag.

He looks like he is ready to join a summertime parade!

American Flag - hooked rug

This primitive Uncle Sam Hooked Rug Pattern was hooked using #8 strips

(one fourth inch wide).

The finished rug measures about

fourteen inches wide by twenty-three inches tall.

It is the perfect size for your patriotic table display!

This rug hooking pattern comes full-size.

You don’t have to worry about increasing the pattern on the printer.

If you would like to start hooking right away,

you can order the hooked rug e-pattern.

If you prefer getting a physical pattern in the mail,

you can choose a mailed pattern in either a paper copy or red dot pattern.

To assemble the paper pattern or e-pattern,

simply cut along the dotted lines and tape the pages together.

Then, you can transfer the pattern to your primitive linen

with some red dot transfer fabric.

Blessings~
Amy

About Me

Our small farm is nestled amongst the Amish. We have a few cows, some sheep, a labradoodle, one calico cat, and lots of wide open spaces for our children to roam. I enjoy making primitive needle punch, wool creations, and learning how to spin the wool from our sheep. Read more...
