Need help figuring out which needle to use on the Ultra Punch Needle?
If you recently purchased an Ultra Punchneedle tool,
you might be wondering what to do with all three of the needles that came with it.
Watch the Video:
Identifying the Needle Tips:
It isn’t obvious at first glance, but if you look real close (and perhaps get out your magnifying glass)
you can see that each of the needles
has a letter on the blue plastic base indicating which size it is.
The needle with the S on the base is the small needle.
Which Needle Tip to Use?
The small needle is for 2 to 3 strands of embroidery floss or the equivalent.
The needle with the M on the base is the medium needle.
The medium needle is for three to six strands of embroidery floss.
Yep, you guessed it – the needle with the L on the base is the large needle.
The large needle works with six strands of embroidery floss or small sock yarn.
You can easily change the needle tip each time you want to punch with a different weight of floss.
